Ada– The annual Relay for Life will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from 6 pm – 6 am at the King Horn indoor track on the campus of Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
This year’s Relay for Life will be to the theme of Carnival. The ONU Colleges Against Cancer chapter (ONU CAC) will transform the indoor track at King Horn Sports Complex into a colorful carnival complete with a jazz band, the luminara ceremony and pie-a-professor for patrons and participants alike to enjoy. Among the carnival festivities, attendees will hear from a speaker about the trials and triumphs of cancer diagnosis.
This event is open to the public. Patrons do not have to run or walk in the relay to enjoy this event, however, they must register. ONU Colleges Against Cancer (ONU CAC) is a student-run organization on the campus of Ohio Northern University seeking to bring awareness of cancer and its effects to the forefront of the community. ONU CAC’s efforts help contribute to cancer research and to community solidarity with those who have been touched by a cancer diagnosis.
