A total solar eclipse is only a day away from coming into full effect on April 8th. Dr. Pinkney who is a professor of astronomy and physics here at Ohio Northern University agreed to sit down with us for the inside scoop.
The video highlights safe preparation techniques, where the best place to see it is, and what the campus is doing to enjoy this rare experience as a community.
An eclipse is not something that happens often and it is certainly special that this one is within driving range of two hundred thousand people. Make sure you’re able to get out and enjoy it, but also safely. It should be something on your bucket list to check off seeing a total solar eclipse.

Great job Anna.
