The Indian Student Association (ISA) held their annual Diwali Dinner on November 6th in the Chapel. Diwali is a festival of lights and is celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and some Buddhists. The Diwali festival lasts five days, and this year it starts on Thursday, November 4th. At the dinner, ISA had served food from Aangan Indian Bistro, a restaurant in Columbus Ohio. Food served at the dinner was Chicken Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta (vegetable dumplings in a mild creamy gravy with nuts) , Paneer Chili (with cheese, onions, and bell peppers) , Naan, Rice, and for dessert, Gulab Jamun, (deep fried ball soaked in a sugary syrup). Overall, ISA served 71 students and faculty for the Diwali Dinner.
