Here at Ohio Northern, we have our very own collegiate Habitat for Humanity chapter where it holds multiple service events throughout the whole school year. Our chapter’s biggest event is our spring break trips.
This spring break, we have the privilege to go to three awesome locations: Davidson, NC , Jackson, MS, and Dade City, FL. Students who go on these trips have an awesome opportunity to help others by donating their time over spring break to help build a habitat home.
Students work from Monday through Friday from 8 – 5 p.m.and at night each trip will have time to hang out and relax for the rest of the day. It’s an awesome opportunity to meet new people that you may have never of met, serve others and actually work on a house!
Now, no construction experience is needed: each work site has professionals who helps us and teach how to do the tasks that need to be done. If you’re interested in Habitat for Humanity, feel free to come to our weekly meeting at 8 p.m. in chapel.

Our mission: Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. We build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. Our partner families purchase these houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative financing methods.
