Homecoming Weekend at Ohio Northern is filled with community-driven events that bring students, alumni and family together to celebrate the many memories and accomplishments that have been made at the university. Between reunion parties, the parade, activities tent and sporting events, there are a variety of attractions on campus that amplify the jovial Homecoming spirit.

Perhaps one of the most thrilling parts of the day was witnessing Ohio Northern’s football team defeat their opponent, Wilmington College, with a stunning score of 59-3. Four touchdowns were made by the Polar Bears in the first quarter alone, significantly raising the excitement of fans in the crowd.

Per Homecoming tradition, the Homecoming Court was formally introduced during halftime following the Marching Band performance. Senior Justin Hall and junior Ethan Giannotta were crowned the Homecoming Kings, eliciting cheers from the crowd.

All in all, Homecoming weekend marked the beginning of another chapter of ONU history, allowing students and alumni to commemorate the wonderful memories that have been made on campus and the many more that have yet to come.
